Lydia Miller Biography

"I celebrate life on my canvases with colour and hope"

Lydia was born in Russia and arrived in Australia in the early 1950's. She is an Arts graduate from the University of NSW and ahs a Graduate Diploma of Education. She studied Painting and Drawing at Seaforth School Art and Design for four years and is an Associate of The Royal Art Society. Lydia also studied with a number of leading Australian artists including David Fairburn, Elizabeth Cummings, John Peart and Vivienne Dadour as well as other noted artists from The Royal Art Society and the Julian Ashton School.

Whilst living in Singapore during the 1970's she studied under the late Chinese Master, Chen Wen His.
